Hey there, My name is Daniel Makayan and I am a Freshman who is currently attending the City College of New York. My family background comes from the Philippines but I was born here in New York and I have lived here all my life. I am a very active person as I absolutely love to do lots of activities that involve using my body such as playing sports, weight training, snowboarding and much more activities. I also love to be inspiring to others being there for them and giving advice, teaching and offering help to them. Even though I can be a loud person when I am with friends, I prefer to be by myself most of the times as I find it very relaxing to learn about myself and just listen to music because I love to just vibe around. I intend to major in Biomedical Engineering but I am very open to other programs as I see myself as a multitalented person and I am so interested in many things, it is hard for me to stick with one thing in doing. One of my biggest inspirations is Kobe Bryant as his speeches always motivate me to do better and strive for the top with hard work. A quote from him that has inspired me is “Dedication makes dreams come true” which I am dedicated to doing what I love and I want to enjoy every single moment of it.
